Tom Byers (He/Him)

Tom Byers is a freelance content creator, community manager and video game critic based in Melbourne, Australia.

Tom specialises in promotion, content creation and news coverage within the video game and tech industries, with a focus on representation, labour rights and Australian policy development.

Tom is currently working with Orchid of Redemption to promote the magical golf-like, Mage Drops – now in Early Access! As well as Lamplight Forest to build publisher interest for the revolutionary musical adventure, Pallas of Vines.

Tom started his career in 2018 as a contributor for Doublejump, an Australian based journalism platform before creating content for the international platform, Abode Gaming.

Tom is also a guest speaker and marking panellist at the University of Melbourne, providing lectures on video game content creation and industry access.
